Educator
In December, I taught a clowning weekend workshop at the Flying Actor Studio in San Francisco. The amazing folks at Pregones Theatre from the Bronx stopped by. We all had a fabulous time.
In December of 2009, I taught commedia dell'arte, circus and clown as a guest artist at the Urban School of San Francisco.
This school year I will be interning with San Francisco Circus Center. I am very excited to be working with Jeff Raz and all of the faculty.
I am going into my 3rd year with San Francisco Arts Education Project as their lead clown and circus teacher. I will be doing residencies at Glen Park Elementary and Bryant Elementary. This last spring Ms. Camp's 4/5 Bryant class performed at the De Young's Young At Art Festival. The kids did an amazing job! Our 6 weeks of summer camp also were filled with learning and play. It was great to see new faces, as well as returning students.
I am beginning my 2nd year at Edgewood Center as the lead clown therapist in their After School Program. I was proud of the progress that my students made last year with their physical awareness, community building, and dedication.
Directing the Dell' Arte Youth Academy this summer was so much fun! This was the 10th anniversary and the entire camp was a success! We even made the local news, KIEM!
This last April I taught a physical acting workshop at Chapman University. It was very successful with a strong turnout of very dedicated students. I hope to return this year.
